Babar azam is the new captain of white ball cricket team
Shaheen Afridi has been removed and once again Babar Azam has been appointed as the captain of Pakistan's T20 and ODI teams.
Reason for removing Shaheen afridi as captain was that under his captaincy, Pakistan lost the previous series against New Zealand by 1-4 and his performance in the PSL was also not impressive. In the PSL, his team Lahore Qalandars only won 1 or 2 matches and it was the first team to be eliminated from the tournament. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, considering this, appointed white-ball captain Babar Azam as the captain for ODI and T20 formats, while Shan Masood will remain the captain of the Test team.
